It indicates that these luminaires may be attached in the specified manner to furnishings made of non-flammable, flame-retardant or normal flammable building materials in accordance with DIN 4102, even if they are coated, varnished or veneered. This symbol applies to luminaires with discharge lamps and luminaires for incandescent lamps for installation in and on furnishings (furniture).
